Development of harvester heads

Following the launch of the then highly innovative 750H model in 1984, a so-called second-generation harvester grapple, the 756, was completed in 1988. Among other things, this model introduced a novel hydraulic valve developed exclusively for a harvester.

The following year, the company introduced the three-roller model H755 which was still used in the early 2000s. Production of the so-called third generation harvesters, H745/HTH450 4WD, with four drive wheels and four delimbing knives, started in 1995. The third generation harvester heads boast modularity to match the requirements of the various market areas. We were also the first in the world to introduce multi-tree handling equipment. Three years later, the model 758 was launched and in 1999 this was followed by the new version, the 758HD/HTH470, which has become an overwhelming success worldwide. In the 2000s, the harvester heads were evolved still further; the H754 with 4 drive wheels, 6 delimbing knives, multi-tree handling and euca equipment was introduced in 2002.
